Work stuff that I've gone and done

What is it I do? Mainly web projects in their many shapes and forms, but in earnest, anything that ends up presented on a screen is within my capabilities. This page is intended to give you some examples of what exactly that could be, but as you might have already noticed, there is a painfully awkward lack of exactly that.

I am currently working on how to best present the projects I've done in the past, until then, here's some text:

Principles

The internet is infrstructure, it exists to bring people closer together, and being one of those who build it comes with responsibilities. Here are some of the core principles I've picked up along the way that you can expect to be baked in to any project I put my hands on:

Performance – No one likes to wait for content. Hosting on edge networks means sites are readily available from fast servers that are geograpically near to the users, resulting in blazing fast loading times.

Privacy – Being mindful of how user data is handled is essential when operating within the EU, but it also shows that you care and is a great way to build trust with your audience.

Accessibility – Making sure that as many people as possible can participate, no matter their abilities, is just what we do.

Education and Employment history

2011 Hyper Island – Digital Media
At this school — located in the south of sweden at a former military complex, literally on its own island — I learned what team means and how to work with others.
2013 Styla.com – Frontend Engineer
This startup provided online stores with tools to highlight their products through content marketing. Here I worked on a Layout Engine which could automatically present products and content in stunning magazine-inspired stories.
2018 Hyper Island – Digital Media Management
Five years after graduating, I knew it was time to come back to build on the things I had learned my first time around. This program taught me how to be a leader in tech and deliver digital transformation with ethics and substance as the priority.
2018 AMBOSS.com – Senior Frontend Engineer
A content platform created to aid medical students in learning, and provide medical professionals with the most up-to-date and high quality information they need to deliver the best care available. I not only worked on the product but also built a diverse team of incredible engineers.
